1% better every day

Since the day I turned 30, I have been trying to become a better version of myself, 1% better every day, in every aspect of my life. If you improve 1% better every day for a year, you’ll end up 37 times better by the time you’re done.

To do this, I challenge myself, I test many methods and above all, I consume a lot of content. Like a fucking lot.

This newsletter is a digest of everything I have seen, read, listened to or tried during my journey.

DailyMax Pro Coaching

Today, I would like to pass on what I have learned to other entrepreneurs, to those who are ready to take the red pill.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for almost 18 years, more than half of my life. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that I really learned how to manage teams and build a sustainable business strategy by relying on the ideas and energy of the people around me.

What happened in 2017? I discovered LEAN and everything changed. Like many entrepreneurs, I was convinced that I knew what to do. But many of my decisions were hasty, ill-informed and, above all, based on my own beliefs, resulting in a colossal waste of talent, time and resources. In a way, I was the limiting factor in my own company’s growth.

I realize how lucky I am to have been trained and accompanied for 4 years by an incredible sensei and especially to have been able to practice LEAN at the head of a digital startup in an innovative sector, experiencing strong growth (+50 employees in 12 months) as well as very hard times.

Today, I would like to pass on what I have learned to other entrepreneurs, to those who are ready to take the red pill.

A 4-STEP MIND SET

FIND

How can employees be encouraged to improve the company by solving operational problems day after day, while developing their skills and their ability to work together?

FACE

How to discover the company’s main challenges and unlock growth?

FRAME

How do you align the entire company with a small set of challenges, so that everyone can contribute ideas and develop in accordance with the common goal?

FORM

How can we encourage the creativity of everyone in the company to develop new capabilities and adapt to changes in the market over the years?

If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

African proverb

A STOP&GO OFFER

I propose a coaching offer based on a first block of 4 one-hour sessions per week, spread over 1 month. At the end of the first block, we will have defined together what we want to achieve and put in place the first tools to align the company towards this goal.

If you are satisfied, we then continue at the rate of one hour every two weeks to give you time to practice and put in place the elements seen together.

I will be satisfied if each of your employees knows what they need to succeed today or in their week to contribute to the success of the company, that the satisfaction of your customers is skyrocketing and that we have divided by 10 the waste of time and energy within your company.

What if you’re not satisfied? We stop. Simply stop.

MY EXPERIENCE

  • Entrepreneur since 2003
  • 8 companies created including 1 success and 5 failures
  • 7 years in event management / 10 years in digital & social media
  • Phases of hyper-growth: managing the integration of 50 employees in 12 months or doubling turnover 4 years in a row
  • Phases of decline: managing the departure of dozens of employees or 2 years “in the red”.
  • Restructuring phases: how to go from -800k€ to +300k€ EBIT in 12 months to return to profitability
  • Strategic pivots: to be the first media to completely close its website (despite 15 million visits per month) and become 100% social
  • A unique expertise on social platforms: 0 to 18 million subscribers in 5 years or the first media group to support the deployment of brands on Titktok in 2019
